Avipattikar Churna happens to be an herbal remedy that is being used in Ayurveda for quite some time in the past. It is available in the form of dietary supplements and consists of several different Ayurvedic herbs that are utilized to treat digestive issues. Amongst the different herbs present in Avipattikar, mention may be made of Amla, black pepper, Behada, clove, cardamom, ginger, Nutgrass, and Haritaki. 1. For indigestion

We suffer from indigestion when the food items consumed by us are not digested properly because of Mand Agni resulting in the formation of Ama. According to Ayurveda, we refer to this condition as Agnimandya which happens because of an imbalance of Pitta dosha. Put simply, we can assert that indigestion happens when the digestion process of the ingested food is not completed successfully.

Avipattikar happens to be amongst the most effective Ayurvedic medicines for taking care of indigestion. This will be mainly because of the Pachan (digestive) and Deepan (appetizer) properties of this medication.

2. For acidity

We can suffer from acidity once there is a formation of Ama within our system or when the food is not properly digested leading to the worsening of Pitta dosha. By the term acidity, we refer to an enhanced level of acid within the stomach. When there is a formation of Ama because of improper digestion of food items, it becomes accumulated within the digestive channels resulting in hyperacidity. We often suffer from heartburn which can be described as a burning feeling in the chest. Avipattikara helps in controlling the production of acid within our system by acting as a cooling agent. This is mainly because of its Pitta dosha balancing and Rechana (laxative) properties.

It will be a good idea to take 2 g of Avipattikara when the stomach is empty. Make it a point to swallow the medication with cold water. Repeat the steps daily if required.

3. For constipation

Constipation, according to the principles of Ayurveda, happens because of the worsening of Vata dosha. Here, we like to mention that during constipation, a person will face the difficulty of passing out dry and hard bowels, or he might not be able to empty the stools. There are several factors contributing to the aggravation of Vata dosha such as consumption of junk food items, high levels of stress and depression, insomnia, and excessive consumption of tea or coffee. During constipation, the Mala becomes dry because of the imbalance of Vata dosha that can make the intestines dry. 

However, the good thing is that being an effective Ayurvedic medicine for Fatty Liver, Avipattikar Churna aids in minimizing constipation because of its Vata balancing and Rechana (laxative) properties.

It will be a good idea to take approximately 2 g of Avipattikar twice daily. Make it a point to swallow the medication with lukewarm water. Repeat the steps two times daily, and perform it only once when the symptoms subside.
